Scandinavian Textiles

A line of Scandinavian designed textiles  can be ordered by the yard or purchase our line of hand sewn by yours truly concert in the park table cloths and napkins.  The table cloths  are made to fit the small square roll up picnic tables  and come with built in pockets to tuck in contrasting napkins and silverware.

The fabrics are made of a high quality coated cotton with anti slip which is similar to oilcloth in that it is fairly stain resistant. Can’t guarantee red wine;) and all fabrics are machine washable. We fell in love with these linens as they don’t have the look of shiny plastic but rather  natural linen like and the best part is they are wipeable! Both beautiful and functional.

Ceramics from France designed by Sea La Vie

The Alsace region in France is known for its traditional clay baking pottery.  Sea La Vie has collaborated designs with a well known French pottery company that has been in business since the year 1750 to bring to the table a colorful collection of pottery.  Sea La Vie will offer a variety of French made bake ware that is oven, microwave, and dishwasher safe.

European MINI village houses

Sea La Vie  is designing an American collection of village houses inspired  by hometown architecture from coast to coast near and dear to our hearts.  Each house is handmade and hand painted piece by piece in Europe by a team of  artists.  We plan to release a new house to our collection one time a year and carry a few European style houses as well.

Welcome to Sea La Vie!

Greetings and thank you for stopping by Sea La Vie. My name is Nicole, the owner of Sea La Vie. I hope you enjoy viewing our coastal collection.  As an American living overseas, I wanted to design and tailor a collection of goods meshing authentic specialty products from various European countries to create a beautiful blend of patterns, colors, and functionality that would fit into American homes.

While living abroad in the French speaking region of Belgium next to the French border, I became immersed in the European lifestyle soaking in the culture that surrounded me, learning French, cooking, taking in the sights, and hitting the antique markets. The business venture didn’t evolve overnight but through years of experiences living in many different style homes across the US and in Europe. Returning to Europe to live again this time in Germany, I felt I had an opportunity to turn a passion for home decorating into a living.

About Sea La Vie

Sea La Vie is a seaside cottage living style that evolved from the influences and inspiration of all the beautiful places I have lived and traveled.

SEA

The Sea incorporates my coastal upbringing in Southern California as well as represents the waters we have navigated moving and making a home wherever the Navy sends my husband roughly every 2 years. Sea La Vie has recently set  anchor in our hometown of Coronado, California.

LA VIE

J’adore the chic, classic, simple, french blues, greys, rustic wooden crates, burlap, and fresh flowers that seems to be a part of the decor style I gravitated toward while living in Belgium. My husband used to joke around with me that if you write something in french on it my wife will buy it;) This is where the french expression C’est la vie fits in. Meaning “It’s the life” which can be interpreted in many different ways depending on the conversation.  La Vie captures the french flair that J'adore.
